چکیده

The present study investigates the effects of dietary protein levels on glucolipid metabolism, immune function, and resistance to Streptococcus agalactiae genetically improved farmed tilapia (GIFT) exposed high temperature. Six practical diets were prepared feed 360 fish (initial weight 43.78 ± 0.12 g) with graded (26.45%, 29.28%, 31.69%, 33.68%, 36.18%, 38.75% dry matter). results showed that 26.45% significantly glycolysis by increasing PK mRNA levels, while 29.28% 31.69% promoted gluconeogenesis PEPCK G6Pase levels. For lipid enhanced synthesis PPAR-?, SREBP1c, FAS level lipolysis PPAR-? CPT1 highest plasma TG TC contents observed in groups, respectively. In terms antioxidants immunity, activated expression HSP90 mRNA, thus antioxidant-related genes (CAT, SOD, GPx), upregulating anti-inflammatory factor IL-10 addition, regarding antioxidant enzymes, GSH content was found group, group had maximum GSH-Px activity. lowest ALT AST activities group. Ultimately, survival rate juvenile GIFT fed after a challenge. Overall, 29.28–31.69% recommended diet high-temperature environment.

Immune Response in Tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, Induced by the Surface Immunogenic Protein (Sip) of Streptococcus agalactiae

The main aim of this study was to demonstrate that the surface immunogenic protein (Sip) of the aquatic pathogen Streptococcus agalactiae is a potential candidate for vaccine development for Oreochromis niloticus. In this study, a Sip was identified. Alignment analysis indicated that the Sip protein was highly homologous with Sip proteins from other S. agalactiae isolated from humans (99%). SDS...

Human Streptococcus agalactiae Isolate in Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)

Streptococcus agalactiae, the Lancefield group B streptococcus (GBS) long recognized as a mammalian pathogen, is an emerging concern with regard to fish. We show that a GBS serotype Ia multilocus sequence type ST-7 isolate from a clinical case of human neonatal meningitis caused disease and death in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus).

Molecular Cloning and Expression Analysis of IgD in Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in Response to Streptococcus agalactiae Stimulus.

IgD is considered to be a recently-evolved Ig and a puzzling molecule, being previously found in all vertebrate taxa, except for birds. Although IgD likely plays an important role in vertebrate immune responses, the function of IgD in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is virtually unknown. In the present study, a membrane form of IgD (mIgD) heavy chains were cloned from the GIFT strain of Ni...

Complete genome sequence of Streptococcus agalactiae ZQ0910, a pathogen causing meningoencephalitis in the GIFT strain of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus).

Streptococcus agalactiae (group B streptococcus [GBS]) is a pathogen that causes meningoencephalitis in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). Here, we reported the complete genome sequence of S. agalactiae strain ZQ0910, which was isolated from the GIFT strain of Nile tilapia in Guangdong, China.
